Activity Log Scanner
This program is great for people who have their own web sites. It will display the number of accesses to ZIP files and Web pages as recorded in a ".log" file that is stored in your site's root directory. Simply place a Log file in the same directory as the scanner and then run the program. Choose "Setup" and enter the necessary information - press "OK". Now you're ready to scan - press "Start", the # of the current entry will be displayed at the top of the window as the program works its way through the Log file. After the scan is complete, the sort buttons may be used to organize the information. Once the files are listed in the desired order, press "Print" for a printout.
This program has only been tested with Log files from my website, so I don't know if there are different ways of storing the entries other than the way my server does. If you do have a problem, please send me a piece of your Log file, and I will modify the program to accept it. If you have suggestions for improvement (for example, if you want to display download information on .avi , .mid files, etc...), just let me know.
